Day 1 Depart Visalia, California. First stop, the Reagan Presidential Library, Simi Valley, California. Then on to Kingman, Arizona for the first night.

Day 2 Depart Kingman, Arizona. Today's route includes Historic Route 66 in Kingman, the (former) White Rock Auto Court, the Grand Canyon, Meteor Crater, and ends in Gallup, New Mexico.

Day 3 Depart Gallup, New Mexico. First stop, The Very Large Array, Radio Telescope facility. End the day at Anthony, Texas, just up the road from El Paso.

Day 4 Depart Anthony, Texas. First stop, El Paso, Texas, my birthplace. On to Carlsbad Caverns, New Mexico. End of the day at Roswell, New Mexico.

Day 5 Explored the "museum" and some UFO related shops, talked to a docent of the museum about Tulare County. Hit the road to Muleshoe, Texas, birthplace of my father and his twin sister. End of the day at Big Springs, Texas.

Day 6 Depart Big Springs, Texas, enroute to San Antonio, and the Alamo. End the day at Houston, Texas.

Day 7 Johnson Space Center, Houston, Texas. End the day at Livingston, Texas.

Day 8 Depart Livingston, Texas, bound for Little Rock, Arkansas, and the Clinton Presidential Library. End the day at Russellville, Arkansas.

Day 9 Depart Russellville, Arkansas, bound for Lavaca, Arkansas. Home of my maternal grandmother and her family. End of the day at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Day 10 Today's stops include the Oklahoma City Federal Building National Memorial, and the Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. End of the day at Amarillo, Texas.

Day 11 Depart Amarillo, Texas, destination Gallup, New Mexico.

Day 12 Depart Gallup, New Mexico, with stops at the Painted Desert / Petrified Forest National Park, and Meteor Crater. End of day at Kingman, Arizona.

Day 13 Depart Kingman, Arizona, with a stop at Hoover Dam. Short detour at Buffalo Bill's Casino at Primm, Nevada. End of day at home, Visalia, California! Total milage just under 4,000.
