The Sheriff's Department Communications
Center is the Primary PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point)
for
Tulare County. Recently upgraded to state-of-the-art computer based
equipment, our center generates over 500,000 telephone calls a year,
with over 60,000 being 9-1-1 calls for assistance. Staffed
by P.O.S.T. (Police Officer Standards and Training) Certified
dispatchers, the Center is a 24 hour-a-day operation, serving the citizens
of Tulare County.
